Position Description:
JCC anticipates part-time openings for Sociology instructors beginning in the Spring 2024 semester on all campuses, as well as online. Class times and course coverage needs will vary from semester to semester. Clearly state campus(es) - Jamestown or Cattaraugus County - and teaching modalities of interest on application materials.
This is a pool posting and applications are accepted on an on-going basis. Applicants will be contacted on an as-needed basis.
Qualifications:
Required: Master's degree (or higher) in Sociology, Anthropology, or related field.
Preferred: Experience teaching at a community college.
Additional Information:
Adjunct salary range of $890 - $1,120 per credit hour, with assigned placement commensurate with education and experience.
Final candidates are subject to a pre-employment criminal background investigation.
